Learning Disabilities and Public Health

In this section we will build up a resource repository to highlight the health and care issues faced by People with Learning Disabilities.  We also intend to use this repository to share learning and good practice, both regionally and nationally.

Addressing the Health Inequalities for People with Learning Disabilities

On the 30th November 2018, the Y&H Public Health England Centre, in partnership ‘Speak Up’ Self Advocacy hosted a symposium on the role of Public Health in context with the need to address the health inequalities of People with Learning Disabilities.
