Emergency services consensus on early intervention and prevention across Yorkshire and the Humber

Emergency services across Yorkshire and the Humber are determined to work together to encourage joint strategies for intelligence-led early intervention and prevention.

This is a ground-breaking commitment that involves five police forces, four fire and rescue services, two ambulance services and four police and crime commissioners, working with PHE, NHS England and Health Education England.
Partners are committed to work together to use their collective resources, knowledge and skills to develop a regional approach to early intervention and prevention which, while recognising the unique nature of each organisations, draws on their combined expertise to support the communities they serve.

Police, ambulance and fire and rescue services share a long history of effective collaborative working and the signing of a consensus to extend this partnership approach is the first regional agreement in the country.
